WOW Wedding season

OK- It's obvious I am a terrible blogger! It's been 9 months since my last post and update. Sorry.

The past 6 months have been spectacular. LK Events had a wonderfully successful wedding season for 2010. We still have several events to go before the end of the year and are excited to continue to see the sparkle in our clients eyes when they walk into the room.
We invite you to visit our facebook link (please go to http://www.lisasweddings.com/ and see the FB link at the bottom of the page) and http://www.weddingwire.com/ to read some of our fantastic reveiws.

Here are a few of our favorite images from 2010

Opulent Red & Gold Reception

Welcome to elegant and sophisticated reception of Mikara and Bryce. This stunning reception was held during the holiday season. Not wanting their guests to walk into their reception feeling like it was Christmas, yet still honoring the season, LK Events designed this opulent setting for them at Ogdens Union Station.

We can not stop talking about this AMAZING facility. The Union Station in Ogden not only has many rooms available, but each has it's own distinct charm. Tracy and Diana were not only helpful, but happy, and willing to get things done in the facility. They run a marvelouse event center.

Our statuesque lamps are very popular among the brides. But each time we use them, we add something distinctly different. elegant golden wire winds all the way up the vase with clusters of red glitter to add just a bit of bling.
A golden topper on each draped column adds a final touch to this event.

The bride and groom decided to remain very non-traditional. There was no backdrop at this reception. As elegant as it was, they still wanted every guest to feel comfortable moving around and having a great time. The cake was placed in the center of the room was stunning.
Just a couple pictures of the flowers done by LK Events.
The Bridal Bouquet is designed in all the tones of ivory and accented with gold.
The throw bouquet was specifically designed to be different from Bridal Bouquet. This is very different because the Throw Bouquet is usually specifically made to mimic or be identical to the Bridal Bouquet. But the richness in the red roses were divine.
Final touches to this reception included the Candy Bar, Sign In and Card Table, and Buffet Table. Everything adds it's own touch to this elegant reception.

Gerbera Daisy Wedding

Who says daisies are just summer flowers? I always encourage my brides to do it their way. Then, I rise to the challenge of making their choices flow with the season, setting, and style of the wedding.

This particular bride wanted yellow gerbera daisies as her main flower. The challenge became trying to make a rather spring style and make it work in November. Adding a hint of bi-color orange roses with black eyed susans to the gerberas beautifully accomplished this.

This reception was broken up between a lunch for close family and an elegant reception afterward with dancing and toasting. LK Events created original pieces that could be converted from the simple lunch piece to the exquisite reception design. This reception was enchanting, beautiful, and simply perfect.
